Maurice proposed last October in the DFW airport baggage claim. He walked over to me dressed in a black chauffeur's outfit and was carrying a neon pink sign that had my name on it. I laughed and told him he was silly. However, as he approached me, he got down on his knee and turned the sign over and it said "Will you marry me?" Of course, after moments of shock and claps from bystanders, I said, "Yes."

My son, Second Lieutenant, United States Marine Corps, was my best man. He and four other Marines from Quantico Marine Corps Base in Virginia drove up to perform the military honors. We are so thankful for everything you've done for us.
