I knew after the first few weeks of dating that Ryan was truly someone very special for me. We found that even being from different cultures, that we had similar life experiences, same lessons in life and had similar upbringing with same values and vision of life. I don't know how many internationals you get but I am Mexican and live in Mexico. Jeff is North American and lives in Texas. Even though we chose our countries as options, we never thought that we would end up finding each other from such a distance. Now we're getting married after a year and a half relationship. Jeff is planning to move down to Mexico as he has found business opportunities here. So, we're giving Mexico a try first to build our future! Gracias eHarmony!

After dinner and a show in London on New Year's Eve, he dropped to one knee with fireworks in the background and asked me to marry him. I am moving to Oxford in August and we are so excited about spending the rest of our lives together--I can't conceive of anyone more perfect. Getting to this point has been the most wonderful journey! Thank you eHarmony for making two people 8,000 miles apart the happiest people in the world!! It is unbelievable how compatible we are. Both of us have had relationships that didn't work, but neither of us gave up hope that there was someone out there for each of us. Who knew we would have to look so far away to find that one special person. If it hadn't been for eHarmony Andrew and I would have never met. Now, I can't even imagine my life without him in it!!
