Dr. Neil Clark Warren
Dr. Warren is the chairman of the Board of Directors and a founder of eHarmony. Dr. Warren retired from management in 2006 but still plays a vital role in the business, advising management and inspiring millions of users with his strong belief in the power of healthy, long-term relationships. Dr. Warren is one of America's best-known experts on mate selection. His experience includes 35 years as a clinical psychologist, counseling thousands of patients on relationship issues, extensive appearances at relationship seminars, and as a relationship expert on many national television and radio programs. Dr. Warren has also written several books on love, marriage, and emotional health, including the best selling "Finding the Love of Your Life," which has sold nearly one million copies and has been translated into over ten languages. Dr. Warren has a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago.
Greg Forgatch
Greg co-founded eHarmony in 2000 and served as CEO until 2006. Prior to launching eHarmony, Greg was the CEO of Neil Clark Warren & Associates, which was formed in 1995 to teach singles how to build healthy relationships. Earlier, he spent 10 years with the national real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield. Previously, Greg was a partner in the start up of the John Galt Computer Company, which was subsequently sold. He began his career at IBM. Greg is a graduate of the University of Southern California.
Sameer Gandhi
Sameer Gandhi is a board observer and venture capitalist focusing on software and services investments. Currently, he is a partner with Accel Partners. Previously, he spent 10 years at Sequoia Capital, where he led the firm's investment in eHarmony. Sameer also led investments in companies such as Gracenote (acquired by Sony), Sourcefire (FIRE), Barracuda Networks, Marketlive, and MP3.com (acquired by Vivendi Universal). Prior to joining Sequoia Capital, he was a principal at Broadview, an investment banking firm specializing in information technology mergers and acquisitions. Earlier, he held technical field sales and consulting positions at Oracle. Sameer has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BSEE and MSEE from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Alex W. “Pete” Hart
Alex W. “Pete” Hart is chairman of the Board of SVB Financial Corp and the Silicon Valley Bank. His career spans 40 years in banking and financial services, including positions at BancOhio, First Chicago and First Interstate Bancorporation. He has served as CEO of MasterCard International and Advanta Corporation. Currently, Pete is a director of Fair Isaac Corporation, Global Payments, Inc., and VeriFone, Inc., and is an advisor to many private companies. Pete graduated from Harvard College in 1962.
Jay Hoag
A founding general partner of Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV), Jay Hoag has been a venture capitalist and technology investor for over 25 years. Prior to TCV, Jay was at Chancellor Capital Management where he spent over 12 years as a technology focused venture capitalist and fund manager. Jay has been involved in TCV investments in companies such as Expedia, Fandango, Netflix, C|NET, Tech Target, and Zillow among others. Jay received an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan and holds a B.A. in economics and political science from Northwestern University.
Jaynie Studenmund
Jaynie Studenmund is a corporate board member and advisor with over 25 years of experience as an operating executive in the Internet and financial services industries. She serves as a director of Orbitz Worldwide, two public funds operated by the Western Asset Management Company, Countrywide Bank, and until recently aQuantive, Inc. She was the COO of Overture Services, Inc. which was acquired by Yahoo!, and president and COO of PayMyBills.com. Earlier in her career, Jaynie was EVP and head of retail banking and chief marketing officer at First Interstate Bank of California, now Wells Fargo. She holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Economics from Wellesley College.
Greg Waldorf
Greg was the founding investor in eHarmony and as CEO, he has overall responsibility for leading all aspects of eHarmony's business. He has been closely involved with the company since its inception in 2000, recruiting several members of the executive management team and contributing to many areas of the company's development and growth. Greg brings extensive experience working with high growth companies as an entrepreneur, investor, and executive.
He has been cited on matters relating to investing and technology in the New York Times, San Jose Mercury News, and BusinessWeek among other publications and he has made numerous broadcast appearances on CNBC. Greg's entrepreneurial endeavors include being a co-founder of Startup, an east Palo Alto non-profit that has provided business training for nearly 500 aspiring entrepreneurs in that community since 1994. Additionally, Greg is a founding member of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Management Board. Greg holds an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles.
